Batu Pahat, October 5 — The funeral of 16-year-old Irene Sofiya Mohd Khairool Faisal, who tragically lost her life in an incident at her school in Yong Peng, took place at the Kampung Parit Arshad Muslim Cemetery around 7:50pm yesterday. Prior to this, her remains were transported to her grandmother's residence in Kampung Parit Selamat, Yong Peng, at approximately 6:30pm following a post-mortem examination at Sultanah Nora Ismail Hospital.
