Inkues Zara Qairina: Koroner, peguam lawat lokasi kejadian

Inkues proceedings for the autopsy of 13-year-old Zara Qairina Mahathir commenced this week, after the teenager died at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on July 17th last year. She was admitted to the hospital after being found unconscious near her school dormitory in Papar at 4 a.m. on July 4th. PAPAR: The second visit to the incident site, following the first visit on September 11th last year, included a tour of the school's classroom, technology design room, dormitory, and female student hostel latrine.

The coroner, Amir Shah Amir Hassan, arrived at the location at 10:05 a.m. to join a deputy prosecutor acting as the forensic officer and the lawyer representing the interested party. The visit aimed to gain a clearer understanding of the earlier statements through direct observation and reference to the actual conditions in the flood disaster that struck Zara Qairina.

Several adult witnesses, including teachers and children, also attended and were called upon to provide explanations regarding the specific location, arrangement, and physical conditions referred to in their previous statements. All involved parties took approximately three hours to examine the site before concluding at 1:30 p.m.
