Imperfect Women Renewed For Season 2 — But Only One Of Its Three Leading Ladies Is Returning To Star

Apple TV has announced that the series "Imperfect Women" will be returning for a second season. Kerry Washington will reprise her role as Eleanor, who returns to her hometown on Martha's Vineyard in Season 2. Unlike the first season, which was based on a novel, the second season will present an original storyline. Washington and Annie Weisman, who co-created the show, will once again executive produce the new season.

Additional executive producers include Justin Hillian and Elisabeth Moss. The move to Martha's Vineyard introduces new secrets and scandals for Eleanor to uncover, adding depth to her character. Washington expressed excitement about returning to Eleanor's shoes and navigating the complexities Eleanor faces. Apple TV's head of programming, Matt Cherniss, stated that the new season provides an exciting continuation of the story.

The showrunner duo of Weisman and Hillian will maintain creative control for the second season, with Washington and Pilar Savone also serving as executive producers.
