I test TVs for a living, and this 48-inch LG OLED TV is the ideal pick for gaming if you want to upgrade ahead of GTA 6
GTA 6's release is right around the corner, and this LG OLED is the perfect upgrade.
If you're considering upgrading your gaming TV ahead of GTA 6, LG's OLEDs are a strong choice. The LG B6 48-inch TV, available for $699.99 at Best Buy (down from $1,199.99), is a perfect-sized option for bedroom gaming. With 4K resolution, HDR, HDMI 2.1 ports, and a 120Hz refresh rate, it delivers vibrant colors, deep blacks, and strong contrast for an immersive gaming experience.
The LG C5 48-inch TV, priced at £799 at Crampton & Moore, is another excellent choice. Although it's a slightly older model, it still offers impressive features like 4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, HDMI 2.1 ports, and full VRR. Like the B6, the C5 features low input lag (9.2ms) for smooth, responsive gameplay, and delivers bright, vivid colors with excellent contrast. Both TVs are solid picks for gamers looking to upgrade their television experience in time for the launch of GTA 6.
