Before the full-scale invasion, Ukraine accounted for 12% of global wheat exports and 16% of corn exports, with about 90% of its agricultural exports shipped by sea. Russian attacks on Black Sea ports and civilian vessels are forcing Ukraine to find alternative routes for those shipments.
