FTC sends price transparency warning letters to 24 large hospital systems

Letters sent Monday warn that CMS guidances on price transparency are "a regulatory floor." Hospitals are also subject to the FTC Act's prohibitions on unfair or deceptive marketplace practices, which could apply to incomplete or inaccurate pricing information, the regulator said.
