FBI Director Kash Patel gets engaged to longtime girlfriend Alexis Wilkins
Photos posted to social media by Wilkins afterward showed the couple smiling while she held an oversized golden championship belt.
FBI Director Kash Patel has announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Alexis Wilkins, the couple revealed on X on Sunday evening. Wilkins, a 27-year-old country singer and political commentator, shared a black-and-white photograph with Patel, 46, holding her hand to display the engagement ring she received, captioning the image "Went and got the law involved."
The pair have been dating since before Patel became the head of the FBI in 2025, when Wilkins attended his swearing-in ceremony. Wilkins released her debut album in 2023 and has been involved with conservative groups, often writing about honoring country tradition while adding contemporary commentary on her website. Patel shared Wilkins' post, but has faced scrutiny for utilizing government aircraft for trips without apparent law enforcement purposes, such as traveling to a pro wrestling event in Pennsylvania where Wilkins performed the national anthem.
Photos from Wilkins' social media show the engaged couple smiling at a golden championship belt. Additionally, Wilkins gained attention for performing at President Donald Trump's Great American State Fair on the National Mall, as other performers decided to withdraw from the event due to its partisan nature.
