FBI Director Kash Patel gets engaged to longtime girlfriend

FBI Director Kash Patel has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins, the pair announced on social media. The 46-year-old law enforcement chief exchanged rings with the 27-year-old singer, who posted a photo of their hands holding the ring on X, captioning it, "Went and got the law involved." Patel and Wilkins have been together since before Patel became the head of the FBI in 2025, when Wilkins was among the attendees at his swearing-in ceremony.

Wilkins, a political commentator, released her debut album in 2023 and has been involved with conservative causes, stating she "honors country tradition while adding relevance and current commentary." Patel, who shared Wilkins' post, has faced criticism for using government aircraft for trips without apparent law enforcement reasons, including an FBI jet ride to Pennsylvania for a pro wrestling event where Wilkins performed.

Photos from the event showed the engaged couple smiling, with Wilkins holding an oversized golden championship belt. Wilkins also made news as a performer at President Donald Trump's Great American State Fair on the National Mall, as other artists decided to pull out of the event due to concerns about its partisan nature.
