Estonian ‘Active Defense’ Strategy Wants Troops to Border Russia
The FT reports that the Estonian government will adopt a new defensive strategy in its latest national security concept. Tallinn’s previous doctrine envisaged allowing attackers to enter the country before countering the enemy with a guerrilla-style defense to block Russian troops until NATO reinforcements arrived.
