Byron Young calls Eagles fan's rant about Jalen Hurts a 'valid crash out'
Rams OLB Byron Young seemed to take a subtle shot at Jalen Hurts' play after a fan went on a rant about the Eagles QB.
In the Los Angeles Rams' game against the Philadelphia Eagles, defensive player Byron Young stepped up to compensate for the team's absence of key players like Aaron Donald, Myles Garrett, and Jaylen Watson. Young had an impressive performance, tallying six total tackles, 2.5 sacks, two tackles for loss, and three quarterback hits.
His primary target was Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, who struggled throughout the game, throwing for only 93 yards and rushing for just 18. Hurts was also without his star receiver DeVonta Smith, and running back Saquon Barkley left the game after just two carries. Following the match, Eagles performance was heavily criticized, with quarterback Hurts receiving mixed reactions from fans and media.
On the Speakeasy show, host Kieran Hickey-Semple, known as Carebarekieran, expressed his dissatisfaction with Hurts' performance, leading Rams linebacker Byron Young to validate Hickey-Semple's frustration, calling it a valid crash out.
