Rex Omar, Head Coordinator of the Black Star Experience, has admitted that the initiative could have achieved more based on the high expectations set by its initial presentation. While Omar does not believe the Black Star Experience has performed poorly, he understands why some Ghanaians feel it has fallen short of expectations.
He acknowledges that the public's desire for more is justified and believes that criticism can ultimately help garner greater support from Corporate Ghana and other stakeholders. Omar stressed that the Black Star Experience is a collective effort requiring participation from all sectors, including tourism, the creative economy, and culture, to realize its full potential.
He urged Ghanaians to understand that they are the stars of this initiative and must play their roles to make it successful.
