The best overall action camera in 2026 is the DJI Osmo Action 6. This camera boasts a larger sensor that allows for a suite of video modes, a SuperNight mode for better low-light shooting, and 50GB of internal storage. Its front-facing screen is sharp and clear, making it easy to monitor footage while recording. However, it does not support 5.7K filming and digital zoom cannot be adjusted while recording.
The Osmo Action 6 also features a variable aperture lens, which helps it adapt to various shooting conditions and delivers improved low-light results. It is available with a Macro lens and an optional FOV Boost lens. The camera offers various field of view options and comes with a battery case that charges three batteries.
