Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Flagbearer and Leader of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has assured all candidates who lost the party’s national executive elections that they will have roles in the NPP’s 2028 campaign. The assurance came after the party held its 2026 National Delegates’ Congress at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, where Dr. Bawumia congratulated the newly elected National Executives, led by National Chairman John Boadu.
The new National Executives, under the leadership of Chairman Boadu, have been working hard, and Dr. Bawumia acknowledged their efforts, praising God for rewarding their labor. Dr. Bawumia emphasized that the NPP is a democratic party, and election outcomes are a result of competitions, urging members to see the election results as a victory for the party.
He clarified that those who did not win should not consider themselves losers, as the NPP won the election. Dr. Bawumia assured all the contestants that they will be part of the Campaign 2028 elections.
