London Broncos co-owner Grant Wechsel believes the club can replicate Wakefield Trinity's Super League triumph from 2023. After finishing second in the Championship play-offs last month, London Broncos secured a domestic treble by winning the trophy. Wechsel, alongside co-owner Darren Lockyer and former Leeds Rhinos CEO Gary Hetherington, is optimistic about their club's future in Super League.
Talks with the Rugby Football League and club owners over a potential stake in the Australian NRL league are ongoing, with Wechsel expressing hope they will secure a 15th Super League team in 2027. The club currently plays in Wimbledon's Cherry Red Records Stadium, but a potential move could come with clarity on their future.
