AJK Opens BSc Nursing Admissions for 2026-27

The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has announced admissions for nursing programs for the 2026-27 academic session. The Directorate General Health has issued an official notice inviting applications for the BSc Generic Nursing program, as well as Post RN BSc Nursing and a one-year Post Basic Diploma program. Interested candidates must complete the admission process before the deadline of October 31, 2026.

The State College of Nursing in Mirpur is the institution responsible for admission to these programs. The minimum requirement for the BSc Generic Nursing program is a passing grade of FSc Pre-Medical with at least 60% marks. Applicants must also meet residence and other eligibility requirements outlined in the admission notice.

To apply, candidates should gather all required academic and personal documents, including educational certificates, identity documents, photographs, domicile or State Subject documents, and any other certificates as required under the admission rules. Age verification is necessary, with applicants aged 18 or above providing their computerized national identity card or providing the relevant B-Form or other identity documents if they are below the required age.

Applicants are advised to carefully review their academic information and attach all necessary certificates before submitting their application. Submission of incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline of October 31, 2026, will not be considered.
