AI Summit & Awards 2027 to bring Ghana’s ecosystem together

The third installment of the Ghana AI Summit and Awards will convene in Accra from March 30 to 31, 2027, uniting policymakers, business executives, technology firms, investors, researchers, and innovators to explore Ghana's embrace of artificial intelligence. The two-day summit, themed "The Intelligent Future: People. Policy. Profit. Progress," is organized by Data Nyansa, Deloitte Ghana, and their partners.

The conference will concentrate on transitioning from AI awareness and experimentation to responsible implementation that yields tangible economic and social advantages. An African AI Roundtable will be part of the agenda, fostering dialogue on Ghana's role within the broader African artificial intelligence community. Dr. Kwami Ahiabenu, chairman of the Ghana AI Summit 2026, emphasized the event's significance, noting its growth into a crucial platform within Ghana's technology and innovation landscape.

As Ghana commemorates its 70th anniversary of independence in March 2027, the Summit will align with this national milestone, aiming not only to discuss AI but to contribute to building Ghana's intelligent future.

On the inaugural day, a practical workshop will provide attendees with hands-on experience in AI applications and their integration into organizations and professional practices. The workshop will cater to professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and innovators eager to acquire practical AI knowledge and skills. The subsequent day will host the main conference, featuring keynote speeches, panel discussions, expert sessions, and networking opportunities.

Discussion topics will encompass AI-driven economic growth, innovation and entrepreneurship, the future of employment, workforce readiness, ethical and responsible AI, policy and regulation, public services, healthcare, agriculture, environmental sustainability, investment, and business transformation. The conference will also scrutinize Africa's role in the burgeoning global AI economy.

The summit will acknowledge organizations, leaders, and innovators through the Ghana AI Awards 2027 and the National AI Challenge, recognizing contributions to Ghana's burgeoning AI ecosystem. Researchers and innovators will have the chance to showcase their work, with selected submissions potentially included in the conference proceedings.
