Agriculture Minister: Agriculture Museum, Egypt Flower Exhibition open free for 3 days for October Victory celebrations

Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa Farouk announced that the Agricultural Museum and Egypt Flower Exhibition in Dokki, Giza will be free for visitors on October 8, 9, and 10. This decision aligns with the celebrations marking the October 6 Victory. All halls of the Agricultural Museum will be open, offering visitors the chance to explore Egypt's agricultural history and development across different periods, including Pharaonic, Greek, Roman, Coptic, Islamic, and Syrian influences.

Farouk also called for a variety of cultural, artistic, and entertainment activities during the festivities, catering to diverse age groups and families. The Agricultural Museum, one of the largest in the world, spans nearly 30 feddans and houses a vast collection documenting Egypt's agricultural progress since the Pharaonic era up to the present day.

The Egypt Flower Exhibition, which operates year-round, is situated on 15,000 square meters and features over 80 exhibitors specializing in flowers, ornamental plants, and landscaping. The exhibition is open daily from 9 am to 9 pm, while the Agricultural Museum's halls remain accessible until 3 pm. This initiative aims to provide an enriching experience by allowing visitors to enjoy green spaces and scenic views while touring the historic Agricultural Museum.
