In total, 124,430 students registered for the exam, with 121,739 appearing and 45,724 candidates declared successful, yielding a 37.56pc success rate while 76,015 students failed. District Education Authority Chief Executive Officer Yaseen Khan Baloch revealed that decisions on the teachers' and headmasters' future will be made by October 20.

He emphasized that termination from service would be the final decision. Baloch stated that the district administration demanded the completion of the 9th and 10th grade syllabus in government schools without any breaks, during which six days a week classes would continue till winter vacations. He also mentioned that teachers have been instructed to deliver quality education to senior classes to improve the students' performance in 2027's annual examination.

Baloch further announced that 100 teachers from government schools who excelled during the 5th and 8th grade annual exams would be honored at a special event on Monday. These educators, known for delivering quality education, will receive appreciation letters and gifts from the education authority. The event will take place at Bagh Sardaran Government School No I, attended by Parliamentarians Tahira Aurangzeb, Daniyal Chaudhry, Ziaullah Shah and the federal minister for railways.
