The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and other leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have urged women to vote for President Bola Tinubu, his Vice, Kashim Shettima, and the party’s candidates in the 2027 elections. During the inauguration of the APC Presidential Women Campaign Council in Abuja, the First Lady emphasized the importance of women supporting Tinubu’s re-election and promoting the party from the presidency to the governorship, National Assembly, and state assemblies.
The theme of the rally, 'Renewed Hope Agenda 2.0: From Reforms to Prosperity,' highlights the party's achievements, including a stabilising economy, declining inflation, growing foreign reserves, and increased support for farmers and students. The First Lady called on women from all geopolitical zones to mobilise support for the administration and described the election as an opportunity to "pay back" Tinubu.
