Toronto police have charged two individuals in connection with the murder of Marcus Charles, 32, whose body was found inside a burning vehicle in Scarborough last month. Rushon Powell, 25, has been charged with first-degree murder, while Shakurwa Jeffrey, also 25, has been charged with accessory after the fact. A third suspect, Devondre Hall, 25, remains wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for first-degree murder.
The arrests come after a series of vehicle fires across Toronto, in which two men were found shot and burned inside their cars. Police are seeking information about Hall's whereabouts in connection to the homicide.
