White House Slams Chuck Lorre’s “Peanut-Sized Brain” After He Roasts Trump: “Immediately Seek Psychiatric Help”

The White House rebuked TV producer Chuck Lorre, urging him to "seek psychiatric help" following his mocking comments about President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump at a Los Angeles charity gala. Lorre received the Founders Angel Award at Project Angel Food's Sept. 26 Angel Awards, an accolade bestowed only once in the charity's 37-year history.

While accepting the prestigious award, Lorre, known for creating "Two and a Half Men" and "Mom," delivered a series of pointed jokes targeting Trump and his administration. He lamented about the "bloated orange piece of s–t in the White House" and questioned the Trump presidency, saying, "I'd love to express my gratitude to all the people who've devoted their lives to making Project Angel Food an oasis for those in need."

However, the comedian also took aim at the first lady, stating, "I'd love to encourage you to pull out your wallets and contribute to this amazing organization, but my need to cause laughter forces me to question how a country can embrace a smart, educated, warm, funny first lady like Michelle Obama and somehow be OK with [Melania]."

White House spokesperson Davis Ingle labeled Lorre's remarks as displaying "severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome," a derogatory term used by the administration to describe emotional reactions or opposition to Donald Trump as irrational. The White House and Lorre's representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
