USMNT upcoming schedule — Friendly vs Canada ahead of CONCACAF Nations League quarters
The USMNT's 2026 schedule continues after the World Cup, as the Stars and Stripes navigate a longer-than-usual September/October international break with four friendlies
The United States Men's National Team (USMNT) recently concluded the 2026 World Cup as Round of 16 finishers. Coach Mauricio Pochettino returns to the team with a new contract and aspirations for another World Cup run. The USMNT have proven their mettle in friendly matches against strong opponents. They won 4-1 against Peru, lost 4-2 to Chile, and defeated Mexico 3-0.
Up next, Canada will visit the United States for a friendly match scheduled for October 6 at 8pm ET in St. Paul, Minnesota. This game will set the stage for the upcoming CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinals, which will take place in November between the runner-up from the group stage qualifiers and the USMNT.
