A little old, a little new, just for you The post The 3 Best Movies to Watch on Prime Video This Week appeared first on TheWrap .
As October arrives, cozy blankets and movie nights become the norm. Prime Video has added new films, including the latest installment in the "Now You See Me" franchise. However, if you're seeking a blend of new and old, there are three standout options this week.
First, "Now You See Me: Now You Don’t" (Lionsgate) reunites the original Four Horsemen, featuring Justice Smith, Ariana Greenblatt, Dominic Sessa, and Dave Franco. The film introduces a new generation of Horsemen and also brings back Lizzy Caplan. Despite being the weakest entry in the series, it remains an entertaining ride with plenty of magic tricks.
Next up is "Fever Pitch" (20th Century), a romantic comedy starring Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon. The movie follows Ben Wrightman (Fallon), a teacher who loves the Boston Red Sox, and Lindsey Meeks (Barrymore), who is initially confused by his obsession. As the baseball season begins, their relationship faces challenges that will ultimately lead to important decisions.
Finally, "Chemical Hearts" (Prime Video) offers a heavier romance for fans of Lili Reinhart. The film follows Grace (Reinhart), a woman with a troubled past, and Austin Abrams (The Resident Evil), a high school newspaper editor who dreams of becoming a writer. As they navigate their budding romance, secrets from Grace's past threaten to unravel their relationship.
