Sbarca a Olbia il Sardinia boat show

The Sardinia boat show, formerly known as the Sardinia boat show, is moving from Porto Rotondo to Olbia. The next edition will take place from May 29th to June 6th, 2027, at Olbia waterfront – Porto Vecchio. The new project was presented at the Genoa nautical salon by Cipnes Gallura, along with the Region of Sardinia, the Municipality of Olbia, the Maritime Authority of the Sea of Sardinia, and representatives of industrial consortia from Sassari and Ogliastra.

The Sardinia boat show, according to the organizers, "will continue to be the fair of the Sardinian nautical industry, with particular attention to two core segments of the sector: the production and construction of vessels, and the activities of refitting, repair, and maintenance, along with all industrial activities and services related to nautical affairs.

The objective is to represent and promote the entire regional production system internationally, connecting Sardinian enterprises with foreign institutions, commercial partners, and investors." The new fair aims to consolidate its regional dimension and will be built around the concept of the "Sardegna System." Alongside enterprises, industrial consortia and the Maritime Authority of the Sea of Sardinia will be present, with dedicated spaces for showcasing production areas, port infrastructure, and industrial settlement opportunities.

Gallura, Cagliari, Ogliastra, and Sassari represent the main territorial poles of the Sardinian nautical industry. The fair, explained Livio Fideli, president of Cipnes Gallura, will have ample land and sea space to accommodate vessels of various sizes, including superyachts, and will develop in the heart of the city, in direct relation to the urban center and the new waterfront.

The direct accessibility of Olbia, connected to numerous foreign markets, particularly France and the United States, is a significant advantage. A particularly noteworthy link has been established with New York: a second direct link, set to be inaugurated in 2027, will be operational by the end of May, allowing the fair to fully utilize transatlantic flights.

The Sardinia boat show, therefore, will take place with the full operation of transatlantic flight routes.
