Salman Khan schools Qazi Touqeer over his ‘lollipop’ comment: ‘Should have backed off’

Controversial comments made by contestant Qazi Touqeer on the latest episode of Bigg Boss Season 20 drew the ire of host Salman Khan. During a recent Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman addressed the issue, reprimanding Qazi for his comment towards fellow contestant Kanika Mann. It all began when Kanika remarked that Qazi's outfit gave her "very professor" vibes.

Qazi jokingly responded that he was now the student and Kanika the teacher, prompting Kanika to ask him which subject he would like to study. Qazi then jokingly suggested they study biology together, leading to the infamous comment of a lollipop. The comment offended Kanika, who expressed her discomfort to Qazi, who refused to apologize.

Salman Khan intervened, stating that if his intentions were not bad, he should have apologized and moved on. He also criticized Qazi's refusal to apologize, saying, "You stretched the matter like rubber, and that's where you went wrong." Salman also warned the other contestants against being calculated and modifying their personalities due to fear of Salman's criticism, reminding them that he is only there to provide feedback.
