Real Madrid boss keeping a close tab on new signing amid strong performances for RM Castilla

Real Madrid's manager, Jose Mourinho, is closely monitoring newly signed midfielder Sergio Martinez, despite his strong performances for the club's Castilla side. Martinez, a 19-year-old Spaniard, joined Real Madrid's reserve team for a fee of €3 million after an impressive run at Racing Santander. Despite not yet making his debut for Real Madrid's first-team, Mourinho has been keeping a close watch on the young talent, who showed flashes of brilliance during a recent match against Atletico Madrid.

Martinez's playing style, reminiscent of Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos, has caught the eye of the manager, who sees the potential to be a crucial addition to the team's midfield. However, Martinez must remain patient as he awaits his breakthrough opportunity in the first-team, acknowledging that a minor injury crisis might hasten his progression.
