The Railways has extended special train services through the Bhopal division to cater to the anticipated festive rush for Diwali and Chhath Puja. Three pairs of special trains will operate, offering additional travel options for passengers from Guna, Shivpuri, Ruthiyai, Chachaura-Binaganj and surrounding regions.

Indore-Subedarganj Special Train No 04170 will run every Saturday and Tuesday from October 3 to November 28 in the onward direction, and as Subedarganj-Indore Special every Friday and Monday from October 2 to November 27 in the return direction. This train passes through Ruthiyai, Guna and Shivpuri.

Additionally, the Bandra-Jhansi Special Train No 02200 will operate every Saturday from October 3 to November 28, while its return service will be on Thursdays from October 1 to November 26. This train passes through Chachaura-Binaganj, Ruthiyai, Guna and Shivpuri.

The West Central Railway will also run three unreserved special trains during the festive season.
