PTPTN galak ibu bapa mula menabung awal untuk pendidikan anak

Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) is encouraging Malaysian parents to cultivate the habit of saving early for their children's education. This effort is ongoing through the Savings and Investment Month 2026 (BMS 2026), which has been running since 25 September and continues until 1 November, marking its ninth year of sponsorship since 2018.

The national-level celebration in Mydin Bukit Mertajam was concluded by PTPTN's Chairperson, Norliza Abdul Rahim, while the program was also conducted simultaneously in 12 other states.

Norliza clarified that BMS is not merely an annual celebration, but a campaign to promote a savings culture as early financial planning for children's education. "Through Simpan SSPN, PTPTN continues to assist parents in planning their children's education more consistently and calmly. I hope that this effort will continue to foster a savings culture within society and instill awareness that every saving today is a crucial step towards a more assured future of education," she stated in a statement.

Throughout the campaign, various activities were held including a coloring competition, Simpan SSPN Got Talent, fashion show, Simpan SSPN health screening booths, and a free takaful insurance offering to depositors with a competitive interest rate, Sharia compliance, and government guarantee. PTPTN also mentioned that they will continue to raise awareness for savings through Simpan SSPN to reduce reliance on loans for education funding.
