Malen has fully recovered from his minor knee issue, enabling him to return to Roma's forward line ahead of their upcoming match against Como. Despite a goalless outing for Roma last season, Malen's impressive scoring form this campaign has caught the attention of his manager, Fabregas.
Already making a significant impact, Malen has netted six goals in the first five matchdays, averaging an impressive 1.20 goals per game. While satisfied with his current performance, Fabregas remains unsatisfied and sets a lofty target for his star striker: "What he's done isn't enough; some have scored 36 in the past. But if he gets to 30, I'm happy."
This goal tally would be a remarkable achievement, especially considering Gonzalo Higuain's record of 36 goals in the 2015-2016 season, which Malen's current pace would surpass.
