Is Patriots DT Christian Barmore playing today?
Patriots star defensive tackle Christian Barmore will miss Sunday’s game against the Bills due to a shoulder injury.
New England Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore will not take part in Sunday's Week 4 game against the Buffalo Bills due to a shoulder injury. The injury led to Barmore not practicing during the week, resulting in his exclusion from the upcoming road game in Buffalo. With Barmore's absence, New England's defense loses a crucial interior presence ahead of a tough matchup against one of the NFL's strongest offenses.
To compensate for Barmore's loss, Cory Durden, Joshua Farmer, Leonard Taylor, and DaQuan Jones will need to step up and deliver meaningful production for the Patriots. The interior will play a significant role in shutting down Bills star quarterback Josh Allen and slowing down their star running back James Cook. The Patriots aim to regroup after their recent loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars and deliver a better performance against the Bills in Week 4.
