Is Jalen Coker playing today? Week 4 updates for the Panthers WR
Here's the latest on the Week 4 status of Panthers WR Jalen Coker . . .
The Carolina Panthers may be without their top pass catcher, Jalen Coker, for their upcoming game against the Detroit Lions. The wideout is listed as questionable due to a quad injury, as he was initially ruled a non-participant at Wednesday's practice and later limited in the week's activities. Coach Dave Canales indicated that Coker's status for the Sunday match could depend on his performance during Saturday's condensed work.
If there remains uncertainty about Coker's availability, the Panthers plan to call up second-year receiver JaSeem Reed from the practice squad. They did exactly that on Saturday, adding Reed and cornerback Robert Rochell to the active roster for the game.
