The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) International President Alok Kumar announced that the Ram Mandir donation controversy will no longer be used for political gains. The VHP has admitted to the embezzlement of funds meant for temple contributions and pledged to hold those responsible fully accountable. In response to court recommendations, the Uttar Pradesh government has broadened the Special Investigation Team (SIT), led by the Inspector General of Police, to incorporate a forensic accounting expert, an auditor, and more seasoned police personnel to ensure a thorough and unbiased investigation.
