Genoa’s De Rossi: ‘When you see me playing the clown to blame players, I’m finished’

Daniele De Rossi, Genoa's head coach, insists that the club will rebound after a poor start to the season, noting that they need to focus on creating positive moments together. He dismissed suggestions that he would play the fool to blame the players, stating that he is committed to treating the situation as a fresh start. De Rossi emphasized that his role is to defend his players and he will not engage in theatrics.

He urged patience for the new player Stephan El Shaarawy, citing a fitness issue as the reason for his late start. Additionally, De Rossi provided an update on Lorenzo Colombo, who suffered a frightening-looking injury, and expressed optimism about the young talent Robinho Junior, who made an excellent impression.
