From Kadhi-chawal rehri to Mercedes & farmhouse – How Karnal man sold Dubai dreams in Haryana’s multi-crore investment fraud

Rajesh Kumar, a resident of Karnal, allegedly duped numerous people across Haryana through an investment scheme, according to police. The businessman, who once operated a kadhi and chawal cart, is now facing a multi-crore investment fraud allegation. His Mercedes has been seized and an investigation is ongoing to trace the proceeds of crime.

The police have seized several vehicles including an Audi Q5, Audi Q3, and BMW, as well as electronic devices like Apple MacBooks and iPhones. The probe is also looking into Dubai-based operators who allegedly controlled the entire investment racket. Investors were promised Dubai flats and lavish returns, but instead were deceived by manipulated digital profits.
