Police are probing a potential arson incident following a fire at the parking lot of a previously operational restaurant in Daito, Osaka Prefecture, on October 3, causing around 460 square meters of damage. The restaurant had gained fame as a haunted location, luring young people and unauthorized visitors despite restrictions. No injuries were reported, and the blaze was swiftly extinguished.
The police are examining whether the fire was intentionally set, considering a previous fire at a nearby garbage disposal area in May.
