Fans Call for Ref to be Punished for Behavior Toward Cardinals TE Trey McBride
An NFL referee was caught on video swearing at Arizona Cardinals TE Trey McBride. Fans want that official punished by the league.
Fans have been calling for disciplinary action against a referee who was seen shouting obscenities at Cardinals tight end Trey McBride during Sunday's game against the New York Giants. The incident has drawn criticism from fans on social media, with many expressing frustration over the referee's behavior. If the roles were reversed and McBride had sworn at the referee, he would have likely been penalized with a flag and a fine.
Several fans have taken to the comment section to express their opinions, with some suggesting that the NFL should take immediate action against the official. The NFL may address the issue with a statement sometime on Monday, but it's unlikely that the referee will face any consequences for his actions.
