Eight people, including ex-home minister’s son held in clashes in Rajamahendravaram city

In Rajamahendravaram city, eight individuals, including the son of a former Home Minister and another son of a former Deputy Mayor, were arrested on Saturday night following clashes between two groups. The disputes arose on October 1 after a disagreement between Ch. Venkata Rama Dasu and the apartment watchman over car parking and repair works.

Both groups clashed twice, but no injuries were reported in either incident. The East Godavari Superintendent of Police confirmed that the eight arrested were linked to the two complaints filed by each group. All eight individuals were brought before a local court, which granted them bail on the same day.
