2 shot dead and dozens injured at Vienna, Georgia, block party shooting

Vienna, Georgia witnessed a tragic block party shooting that left two individuals dead and around thirty others injured, according to state law enforcement officials. The incident occurred early Sunday morning when deputies from the Dooly County Sheriff’s Office were patrolling the neighborhood during a block party. Upon arrival at the scene around 1:25 a.m., they discovered two deceased victims and multiple others who had sustained gunshot wounds.

The extent and severity of the injuries among the injured victims were not disclosed by the authorities. Emergency services promptly transported the injured to various hospitals for treatment. Autopsies are currently being conducted on the two victims who lost their lives in the shooting.
