WATCH: 10-Foot Python Found Madhya Pradesh's Girls' Hostel Bathroom; Rescued

Panic erupted at a girls hostel in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar after students discovered a massive python inside a bathroom in the Tili area. The snake, believed to be approximately 10 feet long, startled the hostel residents and prompted a swift call for professional help. Upon noticing the reptile, the students immediately informed the hostel management. Snake catcher Aqeel Baba was promptly dispatched to the scene to safely remove the python.

Upon reaching the hostel, Aqeel Baba examined the bathroom and located the python. He approached the snake cautiously and initiated the rescue operation while students and staff kept a safe distance. After a brief struggle, the snake catcher successfully secured the python without causing any harm. The reptile was then removed from the bathroom, providing much-needed relief to the hostel residents.

According to Aqeel Baba, the students first observed the python after entering the bathroom and promptly alerted the hostel authorities. Their quick action ensured that the snake could be rescued without endangering either the students or the animal. The location of the hostel, situated near hills and dense vegetation in the Tili area, makes such encounters relatively common. Aqeel Baba mentioned that pythons have been spotted multiple times in buildings within the vicinity of the housing scheme.

Aqeel Baba disclosed that he has rescued between 70 to 75 pythons from the area thus far, with the rescued snakes subsequently released back into their natural habitat under the supervision of Forest Department officials. In light of the incident, Aqeel Baba strongly advised people against attempting to handle snakes on their own, emphasizing the importance of contacting trained snake rescuers or relevant authorities in such situations.

The dramatic rescue garnered considerable attention from locals, with several onlookers gathering to witness the removal of the large python from the hostel bathroom. Despite the fear initially induced by the sight of a 10-foot snake inside the hostel bathroom, the timely intervention ensured the safety of both the students and the python.
