Vijay’s son watched Ajith’s Aarambam FDFS, says they always had ‘healthy competition’

Jason Sanjay, the son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay and director of Sigma, recently discussed the intense rivalry between actors Vijay and Ajith. He stated that this rivalry served as a healthy competition that motivated both actors to excel in their respective fields. Vijay and Ajith, who were once seen as the top stars in Tamil cinema, have chosen different paths since then.

Vijay is now fully focused on his political career as Chief Minister, while Ajith has turned his attention to professional motorsport. The rivalry, while once intense, appears to have diminished as both actors have moved on to new ventures. Jason himself expressed his admiration for Ajith's work, mentioning that he watched Ajith's film Aarambam, directed by Vishnuvardhan, on its first day at Woodlands theatre, one of Chennai's iconic single-screen theatres.

Despite their different paths, Jason believes that such competitions can be healthy and should continue in the future.
