Drishyam 3, the third and final chapter in the Hindi Drishyam franchise, premiered on Friday with a strong opening that has established it as Ajay Devgn's biggest box office opener yet. The film collected Rs 66.75 crore net and Rs 80.10 crore gross in India alone on Day 1, grossing a total of Rs 95.10 crore worldwide. This impressive opening surpasses all of Devgn's previous record-openers, including Singham Again, Singham Returns, Golmaal Again and Raid 2.
Drishyam 3 also outperformed its predecessors Drishyam (2015) and Drishyam 2 (2022) in terms of opening-day collections. The film's strong start received positive reviews from critics, with one highlighting Ajay Devgn's solid performance and effective acting from Prakash Raj and Jaideep Ahlawat. Despite the occasional intrusive background score, the film successfully delivers a compelling conclusion.
