StudyBuddy: I Built an AI Study Planner for My Friend 📚🤖
My friend had a simple problem: studying was not the difficult part — figuring out what to study, when to study it, and how to stay consistent was. Dev.to reporter Vaibhav Sarmal introduces StudyBuddy, an AI-powered study planning assistant built for the Hacktoberfest Weekend Challenge. The tool helps students create practical study schedules by taking in information about their subjects, available time, and goals, then generating a structured plan. StudyBuddy offers an intuitive, user-friendly interface and is deployed on both the frontend (Vercel) and backend (Render) using Python FastAPI for AI planning logic.
The project aims to make studying feel less overwhelming and more like having a helpful friend guide the process.
