Salman Khan was once punished for not paying school fees, now has Rs 3,000 crore fortune

Salman Khan, a prominent Bollywood actor, is now among India's wealthiest individuals with an estimated wealth of Rs 3,000 crore, according to the M3M Hurun India Rich List 2026. However, this was not always the case. In a candid interview on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna's talk show Two Much, Salman revealed that he was once punished for not paying school fees and even had to stand outside the classroom.

His father, Salim Khan, had to intervene and pay the fees to keep him enrolled in school. The incident occurred when Salman, then in grade four, neglected to pay his school fees on time.
