NPP Conference: Akufo-Addo urges new officers to unite party for 2028

Former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo addressed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Delegates Conference, urging delegates to elect national officers capable of uniting the party and rebuilding its structures ahead of the 2028 general election. Akufo-Addo emphasized that the new leadership would have the responsibility of working with the party’s presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and parliamentary candidates to pursue victory in the upcoming election.

He called on delegates to put aside individual interests and elect leaders who could bring the party together at all levels, stating that the task ahead would require commitment and sacrifice from members of the party.
