Hawa Koomson, a hopeful for the New Patriotic Party's Women's Organiser position, has urged party members to back her candidacy. Having experience in both government and opposition, she highlighted the hardships of being out of power. Addressing a women's group before the election, Koomson emphasized the need to work towards regaining power, as the party's present status in opposition should be an incentive for members.
"Look at how miserable we are in opposition," she stated, questioning whether the party was content with its current situation. Koomson appealed to the women to support her in the upcoming election on October 3, promising to reciprocate their support.
