The 28-year-old athlete harbours grand aspirations to become the world number one, secure the world championship title, and clinch a gold medal at the Los Angeles 2028 (LA28) Olympics. Currently, Eain Yow’s primary focus lies in elevating his world ranking, after establishing a more consistent training regimen at his base in Bristol, England.

“At present, my objective is to climb the rankings,” he stated following Malaysia’s triumph in the men’s team event at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Games. Having also claimed victory in the men’s singles category, Eain Yow maintains a positive outlook, believing that a stable training schedule will be instrumental in his ascent in the world rankings.

“I am confident I will continue to climb the rankings. My ultimate goal is to be world number one, world champion, and an Olympic gold medallist,” he conveyed. Eain Yow, presently ranked 18th globally, secured an automatic qualification for the LA28 Games by clinching the men’s singles title. Fellow Malaysian squash player, S. Sivasangari, also ensured the nation’s placement in the women’s singles category. The Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games are set to conclude on Sunday.
