I Built Laravel UI Widgets That Don't Need a JavaScript Framework Called LarawellUI.

I've copied the same hand-rolled datepicker between Laravel projects more times than I want to admit. Every time, I'd look at the existing UI kits first, and every time I'd close the tab. The problem wasn't quality. It was the price of entry. Most Laravel UI kits ask you to adopt their JavaScript along with them — bring Alpine, bring Livewire, or rebuild your frontend in React or Vue. If you're…

I've created a collection of Laravel UI widgets that don't rely on any JavaScript framework. These widgets, called LarawellUI, consist of 34 Blade + Tailwind v4 components, all server-rendered with minimal vanilla JavaScript behind each component. To use the widgets, you simply install them as a development dependency and run the provided artisan command.

The widgets are copied into your application, becoming your own code that you can modify as needed. The package maintains a lock file to ensure you're aware of any changes and can manually apply updates if desired. The widgets are fully tested with Livewire 3 and 4, and they adhere to strict Content Security Policy (CSP) standards, ensuring safe integration.

The set includes various widgets like datepickers, date-range pickers, time pickers, selects, phone inputs, OTP inputs, file uploads, tables, modals, toasts, tabs, steppers, and tooltips, among others. Additionally, LarawellUI includes a built-in MCP server and API endpoints for easy interaction with coding agents like Claude or Cursor. The entire project is available at https://larawellui.wasmer.app/.
