Elite, 5-star LSU commit reportedly making surprise visit to Nebraska
Despite being committed to LSU since May, Nebraska's push continues for this elite, 5-star commit.
Nebraska, despite losing out to LSU in May, is hoping to lure five-star tight end Ahmad Hudson to Lincoln. Tim Verghese of Hurrdat Sports revealed on Friday, Oct. 2, that Hudson will surprise visit the Cornhuskers' game against Maryland on Saturday. This marks the tight end's fifth trip to the Nebraska campus and his second visit since committing to LSU in May.
Hudson is considered one of the top prospects in the 2027 cycle, ranked No. 19 overall, the top tight end prospect, and No. 3 player out of Louisiana by USA TODAY Sports. He is also regarded as one of the best basketball prospects in the country, ranked No. 17 overall and No. 3 power forward by 247Sports. Hudson plans to play both football and basketball at the next level, regardless of the school.
The visit comes a day after Ruston (4-1) defeated West Point (MS) 29-2 at home. Nebraska is 4-0 and has won all four games by double digits.
