Does Texas football play today? No. 1 Longhorns' remaining schedule
After going 4-0 to begin the season, top-ranked Texas football now awaits a matchup with bitter rival Oklahoma.
The Texas Longhorns football team has a bye week following their 20-17 victory against No. 1 Tennessee Volunteers. After winning their game, they enter a week off to prepare for their next match. The Longhorns, currently ranked No. 1 with a 4-0 record, will take the weekend to regroup before facing a significant opponent.
Three games remain on the Longhorns' schedule, all of which are away games. They are set to play against No. 24 Oklahoma on October 10th for their annual Red River Rivalry matchup, followed by contests against Florida and Ole Miss in subsequent weeks. Texas will then face Missouri, Mississippi State, and Missouri before concluding their season with games against Arkansas and Texas A&M.
