CONVEGA, the economic development consortium for the Vega Baja del Segura region, has launched a video competition with camera equipment prizes. The "Vega Baja del Segura in 20 Seconds" competition invites participants to share their unique perspective on the region through a short, original video. The contest seeks to capture the landscapes, people, and way of life that define the area's distinct identity, from farmland and coastal scenery to heritage, food, traditions, and local industries.
Videos must be filmed in vertical format, no longer than 20 seconds, and submitted through CONVEGA's electronic portal by 19 October. The winning entry will receive a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, while the runner-up will receive a DJI Osmo Action Adventure Combo. The initiative aims to boost the region's digital profile and encourage residents and visitors to contribute to its story, ultimately showcasing the Vega Baja's diversity and strengthening a sense of belonging.
